    This MV can be used to lead in this unit which mainly concerns about Inventors and inventions.

(1)     Part A of the warming up asks Ss to make a distinction between inventions and discovery. The lyrics Invention means make something new may well help Ss distinguish the invention which is to make the new things from the discovery which is to uncover the existent things. 

(2)     Part B of the warming up asks Ss to discuss the modern inventions that they know. Some inventions such as “light bulb”, “plane”, “telephone” in the MV can be used as examples.

(3)     The reading text tells that the writer invented a new way to catch the snake. As the lyrics Somebody makes dream come true, there is no reason you can too in the MV said, T is supposed to encourage Ss to keep curious and creative.
