二．         背景信息

《Lemon Tree》是一首由Fool's Garden（愚人花园）于1994年12月4日首唱的乡村歌曲，由Fool's Garden填词谱曲。这首歌写的是一个大男孩在某个下着太阳雨的星期天下午等着他的女朋友，其将等人时的焦虑不安及胡思乱想的心情表现得淋漓尽致。歌曲一开始呈现了男孩等待时的状态和心情，流露出浅浅的惆怅，随着旋律的缓缓流淌，曲风又渐渐转为轻松，明快，似乎之前的一切灰色调情愫统统都烟消云散。曲子清新欢快，感染力强，呈现出了生活的又酸又甜，五味杂陈的本质。

三．         教学建议

1.      该歌曲适合放在讲授初中“动词”语法课的lead in部分。

这首歌包含较多类型的动词，有sit, drive, wonder等实义动词，也包含情态动词can，还有do, would, will等这样的助动词，利于为动词的类型等方面的语法点进行铺垫；另外曲子节奏欢快清新，适合调动课堂气氛，提高学生学习兴致。

建议做法：老师先播放歌曲视频，并让学生留意视频里出现的动词，让学生了解主题内容等，与学生进行free talk。接着由着主题和歌曲中出现的动词作为引入，进入语法课堂的学习。
